That's So Punk! Preview

In other news, Hellion Razorbitch of That's So Punk graciously spared some of her desperately sought after time to give you a sneak peak at 2 Ferocious 2 Bloodaxe.  See below for the clip:

Editing & Stuff...

The filming has officially wrapped and the editing process has begun.  Thank you all for your support and those key players well get special mention in the completed film.  After capturing nearly 3 hours of footage, we're merely half way through what we filmed.  Tomorrow will be another day of capturing another 3 hours.  Lets see if we can cut this epic down.

In other news and tid-bits, we have more pictures from the shoot last week.  Enjoy!

This Week...

Filming on Saturday was a triumph.  We can clearly see the acting chemistry brewing between The Sarge and Scuba, delivering powerful scenes.  After several rewrites, compromises and hiccups we have the bulk of the film done.  Since we want to get this thing finished and deliver it to you, our audience, we will be filming on Thursday to shoot the epic conclusion to 2 Ferocious 2 Bloodaxe .  It will be both a relief and a feeling of sadness as we've given this project our all and from what we've seen in dailies, as well as the upcoming That's So Punk preview, you won't be disappointed.

Soon it will be time to nominate for the Bloodaxe Audience Choice Awards for best actor.  Keep an eye on this space to see how to nominate when the time comes.  We have some screenings to prepare for once editing is completed.  We will let you know where and when.

Upcoming Shooting...

It is, yet again, that time to get excited about shooting.  Week after week we've been putting together this next chapter in Bloodaxe, with some interesting (in a good way) results.  What is pre-planned can change and become better.  What isn't planned is even better.  We have developed the Bloodaxe Choice Awards, where as a group we nominate the best actor in the Bloodaxe troupe.  Granted, as we started filming last year, we may have overlooked certain performances, Capote for instance.  But L Bargie really blew us away last week.  Prior to that, we had Kenny as The Sarge who brought a Marlon Brando (as Col. Kurtz) enthusiasm to the role.  So, what we are getting at, maybe we should let you, the audience, decide.  The nominations will open as soon as the film is released.

As for Saturday's shoot.  We really will be rounding off Kenny's shooting.  After that, it is merely the highly disturbing climax left to complete.  You will not be disappointed.

Set Photos 17/03/12

Set pics from saturday starting with our very own twat in a bath. Enjoy!

After the Fact...Twat in a Bath...

Filming was a mixed bag on Saturday.  There were a few issues and certain scenes were not accomplished.  We did, however, see L Bargie on top form.  He has been nominated (within the group) for the Bloodaxe Choice Award, something we've started recently.  He has delved into his part and he really was L Bargie.  He was so scene stealing that he should have his own spin-off.  More on that later.

In other news, our Twitter followers will have noticed a few changes to the page and maybe the phrase 'Twat in a bath' tweeted a couple of times.  We would like to stress the importance of this film and we have made sure that every shot in every scene can be the best it can, that means being a twat in a bath.  Adam has already written it as a song for a new album.

More pictures, clips etc to come.

Filming...

Today marks the return of filming.  We will have Kenny back as The Sarge, finishing off his well-received performance.  It has been a long month of filming and it shall continue.  We have taken our time with this one to not disappoint, so watch this space and we will have exclusive clips very soon.

In other areas, we have still to get Adam another Kippah.  A lot of special make-up FX are going to be used soon and we don't want to ruin what has now become somewhat of an icon of a prop.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Twitter

We're looking to increase our twitter audience.  To do so, we have offered an incentive, our 500th follower will receive a copy of the script for Part II, signed by the cast.  Even better, our thousandth follower will get the very same kippah that adorned Adam's head during filming.

Here it is:

So for all you twitterers out there, come here and follow us.

If you don't have a twitter, then go get one.  Support the Bloodaxe

Another Film Day...

Two more days until the filming resumes and we have yet to find another Kippah for Adam.  How he will perform, we do not know.  Adam is a method actor to the end, and we don't mean he follows people of the Jewish persuasion around, mimicking what they do.  No, he is a method unto himself, meaning he follows himself around all day, getting to know what it feels like to meet your inner self, joining with it and being enlightened.  Without another Kippah, he will just be Adam.

In other news, Kenny Boyle as The Sarge will return with us on Saturday to, hopefully, complete his scenes.  He has been a tremendous help to us and he will not disappoint.

More to follow.

Keep it loose

Twitter and Other Things

As filming has recommence, we have seen a rise in Twitter followage.  We would just like to thank those who are showing support and will reassure them that this new Bloodaxe endeavour will not disappoint.  For those of you who missed the first Bloodaxe film, let us know if you care for another screening.

In other news, Adam is seeking another Kippah.  If you could oblige, we would be very grateful.

Shalom indeed.
